About Me
Erica Rubio
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, and Part-Time Instructor in the Child and Adolescent Development Department at CSUN.
As a therapist specializing in both children and adults, I offer a warm, supportive and empowering environment for personal growth, resilience, and emotional healing.
My focus is on guiding and empowering children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing a client-centered, strengths-based approach, instilling hope, and creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. My clinical experience includes working in both private practice and community mental health settings.
Currently, I am working under the licensed supervision of Mary Ann Lovegren, LMFT #39405, in her private practice in Westlake Village, CA.
